Teaneck, NJ – Turnpike Worker Injured After Fall at MP 119.2

Teaneck, NJ (December 10, 2025) – Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, December 10, a highway worker was injured after falling into an electrical box along the New Jersey Turnpike in Teaneck.

According to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, the incident occurred at approximately 12:42 a.m. on the southbound side of the Turnpike near milepost 119.2. Troopers arrived to find that the worker had fallen into an electrical box while on the job. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment.

The Teaneck Police Department has not yet released additional identifying details about the worker or the events leading up to the fall. The incident caused temporary delays as troopers assessed the scene and assisted the victim. According to Sgt. Lebron, the investigation remains ongoing.

Teaneck, NJ – Rider Injured in Crash on Degraw Ave Near Frank Burr Blvd

Teaneck, NJ (December 9, 2025) – On Monday evening, December 8, emergency crews responded to reports of a serious crash involving an e-bike and a motor vehicle on Degraw Avenue near Frank Burr Boulevard, directly in front of the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe. 

The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m., prompting a rapid response from local police, EMS, and fire personnel. First responders arrived at the scene to find a 22-year-old e-bike rider with significant injuries. Paramedics provided on-scene treatment before transporting the victim to Hackensack University Medical Center, where they were admitted in serious condition. Authorities have not yet released additional information regarding the rider’s current status.

Police temporarily restricted traffic in the area while emergency crews assisted the victim and cleared debris from the roadway. The crash caused delays along Degraw Avenue as investigators documented the scene and examined the circumstances surrounding the incident.
